COVID-19: Kuwait confirms 701 new cases, with the total number now 74486

Cairo: Kuwait has shown 701 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This is a minimum of the previous day’s number and raises the total number of infections in the country to 74,486, Kuwaiti news firm KUNA reported on Thursday.

The most recent cases come with 500 Kuwaitis and 201 foreign residents, the fitness ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad said in an update.

All new instances that were in contact in the past inflamed Americans or are being investigated to locate contagion resources and identify those who were in contact, according to the official.

No new deaths have been reported by COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in Kuwait to 489.

118 patients are receiving intensive care, Dr. Al Sanad said.

Kuwait’s total number of viral checks has reached 548,005, so after 4,147 have been carried out in more than 24 hours, the official added.

The Ministry of Health also reported that 648 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of cures for the disease in Kuwait to 66,099.
