Cairo: Kuwaiti government has to cancel this year’s camping season, which begins regularly in November, as a precaution to prevent the spread of coronavirus, an official said today.
Earlier this week, the number of viral infections in Kuwait exceeded 100,000.
“The resolution will be reviewed on the basis of reports published through the Ministry of Health on 15 December,” added Ahmed Al Manfuhi, an official of a government committee responsible for implementing fitness measures, according to Kuwaiti Al Anba.
Camping, a popular culture in Kuwait, begins the year at the beginning of winter and lasts approximately 4 months.
Kuwait has recorded a total of 101,851 cases of viruses and 592 similar deaths.
