COVID-19 kills forty-five more Iranians in the last 24 hours

Some forty-five more Iranians have died from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 143,550, Iran’s Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

In the last 24 hours, 2,667 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected, of which 591 have been hospitalized, he said.

Iran’s Ministry of Health noted that 7,256,895 patients out of a total of 7,516,596 inflamed people have recovered or been discharged from hospitals.

One thousand 287 COVID-19 patients are in critical and extensive care units, he added.

The Iranian Ministry of Health also announced that 64,945,983 Iranians received the first dose and 58,325,711 more people received the current dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

In addition, another 30,540,573 people also gained the third or fourth momentum.
