Dubai: A COVID-19 patient in Bahrain has been sentenced to 3 years in prison and a fine of BD 1,000 for intentionally cutting the mask and coughing in front of a medical center, local media reported.
The lower criminal court upheld the three-year sentence of offender after making sure the offender deliberately coughed in his hand and then temporarily touched doctors to transmit the virus to them.
