OCTA member Guido David said the seven-day average of new cases in Pangasinan doubled from 36 on Sept. 6 to 69 on Sept. 13.
In Rizal, the average number of new instances increased from September 4 to 12four on September 11.
While the average attack rate or number of new instances consistent with a population of 100,000 remained low in either province, the OCTA reported an accumulation in other indicators.
The expansion rate, which measures the evolution of the average number of new cases, went from 8% to 92% in Pangasinan and from -15% to 47% in Rizal.
The highest positivity in Pangasinan is 6. 9% to 10. 9% and from 12% to 17. 4% in Rizal.
David said the numbers that increased were not due to the backlog of cases.
Use of medical care in Rizal 50. 8% “moderate” and 30% “low” in Pangasinan.
David said the rise in new cases should be monitored even if peak signs remain at low levels.
