MANILA, Philippines – The number of cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the House of Representatives has reached 54 after two other members were shown to have contracted the disease.
The case at the moment, Montales said, is from the home’s engineering branch that last reported for paintings on Aug. 17 and symptoms appeared the same day.
In the past, it reminded painters to physically show up in paintings only when physical presence is required.
“DO NOT physically go near the paintings when you have or have experienced any of the symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days. When in doubt, the COVID-19-like symptom is COVID-19, ”the House official said.
Montales said appropriate consequences will be imposed for violations of House’s protection and fitness protocols.
