COVID-19: infections in Oman reached 83418, total death toll is 597

Cairo: Oman said Tuesday that his general coronavirus infections increased to 83418, a buildup of 192 new cases from the previous day’s count.

The Oman Ministry of Health estimated the total number of COVID-19 deaths in 597, with new deaths.

The total number of patients cured in the sultanate reached 77,997, or 93. 5%, the ministry told the Omani news firm ONA.

The ministry added that 154 patients were receiving intensive care.
