Covid-19 in India: 63,490 new cases, 71.91% cure

Nine deaths were reported in Odisha and Telangana, eight in Bihar, seven in Assam, Jammu and Kashmir and Kerala, five in Goa and Tripura, four in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand, while Ladakh recorded one death.

Out of a total of 49,980 deaths, Maharashtra reported that it was 19,749, followed by 5,641 in Tamil Nadu, 4,188 in Delhi, 3,831 in Karnataka, 2,765 in Gujarat, 2,562 in Andhra Pradesh, 2,393 in Uttar Pradesh, 2,377 in West Bengal and 1,094 in West Bengal. Madhya Pradesh.

Chhattisgarh recorded 134 deaths, Pondicherry 106, Goa 98, Tripura 55, Chandigarh 28, Andaman Islands and Nicobar 24, Himachal Pradesh 19, Manipur 13, Ladakh 10, Nagaland eight, Meghalaya six, Arunachal Five, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Idf two and Sikkim one.

The Ministry of Health noted that more than 70% of deaths are due to comorities.

“Our figures are being reconciled with the Indian Medical Research Council,” the ministry said, adding that the distribution of figures across the state is a matter of verification and reconciliation.
