Germany has removed the Dobrich district in northeastern Bulgaria from its list of high-risk areas, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on 10 September.
The ministry stated that the explanation of why for resolution the improvement of the coronavirus spread knowledge in the area.
Germany placed the districts of Blagoevgrad, Varna and Dobrich in their foreign threat spaces on 7 August, but withdrew Varna on 23 August. Blagoevgrad remains on this list (available in German, at the Robert Koch Institute here).
Those who arrive in Germany and have been in the Blagoevgrad district must go through PCR controls. Until the PCR verification result is received, a mandatory 14-day quarantine will be applied for those arrivals.
The quarantine requirement will disappear if it is negative.
The control must be exceeded within 72 hours of entry into Germany. Testing is also allowed in Bulgaria if conducted through a qualified laboratory and carried out up to 48 hours before arrival in Germany.
