COVID-19 free on sites in San Juan County, Navajo Nation

FARMINGTON – The State Department of Health is moving COVID-19 screening efforts to Kirtland in Bloomfield for one day over the next week.

The New Mexico Department of Health is holding 4 sessions at San Juan College at 4601 College Blvd. Farmington.

There will be two morning consultations and two late-night appointments at the university. The fitness service made 3 morning consultations and a late-night consultation last week.

Morning sessions take place from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. on August 3 and 7, with evening sessions at 6 p.m. 7 p.m. August 4 and 6.

There will be a morning consultation from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on August 5 at Bloomfield High School on Five20 N. First St.

They’re not scheduled at Judy Nelson Elementary School in Kirtland this week.

People who wish to participate are asked to pre-enter for the occasion at cvreg.nmhealth.org and to wear a mask on the site.

There are five COVID-19 verification sites on the loose in the Navajo Nation until August 18, operated through various fitness agencies in the area’s bankruptcy rooms.

Those who wish to get tested are invited to pre-register online to save time and speed up the process.
