Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Health in Kuwait today received the first flight to bring back stranded doctors outside of the country, Kuwaiti media reported.
The ministry had been trying to arrange the return of expatriate doctors – who work in hospitals and clinics in Kuwait – that had been stranded abroad after they left the country before the coronavirus pandemic occurred.
The Ministry of Health has compiled a list of doctors and all the places where they are stranded and is taking all steps to get them back to Kuwait safely. More flights are expected in the coming days.
