An ideal state committee on COVID-19 said a resolution banning night movements ended at five a. m. this morning, Oman’s news firm reported. Curfew hours were shortened last week.
The committee valued what it called the “great response” of citizens and expats to the application of the ban and suggested that they adhere strictly to all precautions to restrict the spread of the virus. This includes dressing up in face masks, observing social estcum and washing your hands constantly.
To date, Oman has reported a total of 82,743 viruses and 557 similar deaths.
On 7 August, the government lifted a two-week general blockade between Oman governorates following the easing of restrictions against a coronavirus outbreak.
