COVID-19: Court of the Kaaba to the ritual bypass

Cairo: a courtyard around the Holy Kaaba in the Grand Mosque of Mecca will be designated for ritual ringing until Sunday, when the Umrah resumes, according to a senior official.

The general president of Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Mosque of the Prophet Abdulrahman Al Sudais ordered the appointment to allow pilgrims to carry out the ritual smoothly and smoothly, the Saudi news portal Sabq reported today.

“This measure is taken to protect pilgrims and help them perform the ritual perfectly after the slow resumption of umrah and visits is approved,” he added.

Last week, the Saudi government unveiled a plan to restart the Umrah and make a stopover at the two sacred mosques in Mecca and Medina, starting in early October.

Pilgrims’ access to the saint is regulated through the “I’tamarna” smartphone app which translates as “We Made the Umra”.

Saudis and foreign citizens of the kingdom will be allowed in the first phase from four October to practice Umra at a capacity of 30% amid strict precautions opposed to those of COVID-19.

Muslims abroad will be allowed to go to Saudi Arabia to practice Umrah from 1 November.
