Hyderabad will see a drop in COVID-19 instances until the end of August, and in the rest of Telangana, the decline will be observed until the end of September, said the Director of Public Health, G Srinivasa Rao.

Telangana reported 1256 new instances of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the state to 80,751. With 10 more deaths, the death toll increased to 637, according to a state bulletin on August 10.
The downward trend in new positive cases continued at Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) with 389 new cases reported that day.
