MOSCOW. KAZINFORM – The number of COVID-19 cases in Russia exceeded 4,042 in the last day to 21,864,944, the coronavirus crisis reported on Tuesday, TASS reports.
Up to 877 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Russia on the last day, up 141. 6% from the previous day. The number of hospitalized patients decreased in 10 regions, while in 66 other regions the number increased. The day before, another 363 people were rushed to hospital.
COVID-19 cases in Moscow rose to 1124 on the last day, up from 1228 the day before, reaching 3,320,334, at the coronavirus crisis center. COVID-19 cases in St. Petersburg rose to 663 on the last day from 608 the previous day, reaching 1,835,214.

COVID-19 recoveries in Russia surpassed 4,933 in the past day, reaching 21,283,039, the coronavirus crisis center said Tuesday.

The death toll from COVID-19 in Russia jumped from forty-five in the last day to 394,483, the coronavirus crisis center told reporters on Tuesday.
A day earlier, deaths from COVID-19 had been recorded.
