COVID-19 cases in number of PH to 272934 with 3550 new infections

MANILA, Philippines – There are now 272,934 COVID-19s in the Philippines after 3,550 new infections were registered, the Ministry of Health (DOH) said Wednesday.

Of the active instances, 87. 7% are instances, 8. 4% are asymptomatic instances, 2. 7% are critical instances, and 1. 2% are severe instances.

The DOH reported 524 new COVID-19 survivors and 69 new deaths, bringing the total to 207,858 and 4,732, respectively.

The Department of Health also noted that 23 duplicates had been disposed of, adding nine recovered cases, of the total number of cases.

In addition, the DOH noted that nine other cases had already been reported as cures, but were later known as deaths after the final validation.
