MANILA, Philippines – The total number of new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Philippines is now 248,947 after 3821 infections, the Ministry of Health (DOH) reported on Thursday.
The most recent knowledge of the DOH showed that of the total number of COVID-19 instances in the country, 58,823 are active instances.
In addition, the DOH indicated that 17 duplicates, 12 of which were recovered cases, were removed from the total number of cases.
There were also 36 cases that in the past had been recorded as cures, but which were validated as 35 deaths and one active case.
