COVID-19 continues to rise in British Columbia. the province has recorded 236 new cases of virus in recent hours.
Between Friday and Saturday, a hundred new instances were reported, between Saturday and Sunday, 88 new instances were reported and between Sunday and Monday 48 new instances were reported. Six new COVID-19 instances were registered at Interior Health this weekend.
Two other people from the Fraser Health Region died of COVID-19 over the weekend, raising the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in British Columbia. 198.
Now there are another 3653 people in British Columbia. fully recovered from the new coronavirus.
The total number of cases shown in the province since the start of the pandemic is now 4,594.
According to fitness authorities, there were 2,425 cases in Fraser, 1,419 off the coast of Vancouver, 405 inland, 154 on the island and 117 in the north. There were also 74 cases in British Columbia. among those who live outside Canada.
Lately, there are 743 active cases of the virus in British Columbia, with 4 other people in the hospital, 3 of whom are in intensive care.
Public fitness is lately tracking 2286 other people who have been in contact with a known COVID-19 case.
There are 3 new outbreaks of COVID-19 in health care at two care centers at Fraser Health and one at Vancouver Coastal Health, bringing the total number of intensive care and long-term care outbreaks to 10 facilities. None of them are indoors.
In total, there were 690 COVID-19s in fitness facilities, affecting 415 citizens and 275 employees.
Interior Health reported an outbreak Friday at the Okanagan Regional Correctional Center where 3 members of the Oliver domain staff tested positive for COVID-19. The trio is remote in the house and is supported by Interior Health as they search for contacts to identify who might have been exposed to COVID-19.
There is no evidence of network transmission at this time. All three staff members were exposed to COVID-19 in an offsite educational session, according to IH. All mandatory precautions to fight infections are in the criminal’s position to protect detainees.
No new outbreaks were reported on the network over the weekend, however, the fitness government continues to consider exposure alerts for various locations and flights to and from British Columbia.
