“When you get a vaccine, it can take a few weeks to expand immunity and generate your full protection,” CNN’s Jen Christensen wrote. “The knowledge showed that one month after test participants gained the new booster, Omicron BA. 4/BA. 5 neutralizing antibody buildup increased 13. 2-fold from pre-booster levels for adults 55 years of age and older, compared to a 2. 9-fold accumulation in older adults who received the original vaccine.
