A case of COVID-19 detected at Felix the Cat Nursery in Saskatoon, according to the school principal.
“There’s a positive case,” Beatrice Mbazumutima, director of Felix the Cat, said Thursday. “We follow public fitness guidelines. “
He said contact search is ongoing, but referred additional questions to the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA).
A SHA spokesman told Global News that it “does not disclose the express locations of cases. “
“Affected contacts, for example, would be reported as a component of the physical fitness response of the general public, and those who are not contacted through public fitness can be assured that an assessment has been conducted,” shaD said.
The Félix le Chat nursery is attached to the number one school of the Franco-Canadian school, but its facade is absolutely different.
The Conseil des écoles fransaskoises told Global News that he was aware of the scenario and that the department warned families as a precautionary measure.
The French school department says it supports daycare, which is a separate entity, for all the wishes it may have.
