MANILA, Philippines – The number of coronavirus disease cases in the House of Representatives reached 81 after a worker tested positive for COVID-19.
Montales claimed that the worker had been screened for the virus after having a dry throat and itching.
So far, 10 lawmakers have tested positive for coronavirus, the last of which is Arlene Brosas, Gabriela’s list representative.
Two of the members of the House died of a fatal respiratory illness, namely the representative of the list of the elder Francisco Datol and the representative of Sorsogon Ditas Ramos.
