Bangladesh has recorded 30 Covid-19 deaths in more than 24 hours, bringing the number of coronavirus deaths recorded to 5405.
The country also recorded more than 371,000 cases of coronavirus and another 1,499 people tested positive in the same period.
With this change, the number of all displayed to date is greater than 371,631.
The Directorate-General for Health Services (DGHS) released the latest figures on Covid-19 in the country with a press on Tuesday.
Of the other 30 people who died, totaling 20 men, 19 were from the Dhaka division, 4 from Chittagong, two from Khulna, Barisal and Rangpur, and one from the Sylhet division.
So far, 4,175 men (77. 24%) 1,230 (22. 76%) Covid-19 across the country.
The mortality rate of the total number of cases detected so far is 1. 45%.
DGHS reported that 12,398 samples had been collected from patients suspected of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
No fewer than 12,345 samples were tested in 109 authorized laboratories, either from the government or the country, and 1,499 new patients were confirmed.
The most recent figures show an infection rate of 12. 14%.
To date, 2,013,776 tests have been conducted in the country, leading to a general infection of 18. 45% to date.
The health government said another 1,651 people have recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
To date, 284,833 patients, 76. 64% of all inflamed patients, have recovered throughout the country.
On March 8, the Bangladesh fitness government reported the first 3 cases of Covid-19, a severe acute respiratory illness caused by a new strain of coronavirus later named Sars-CoV-2.
The new coronavirus erupted in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December last year and temporarily spread around the world, corresponding to a pandemic in less than 3 months.
Rapidly spread coronavirus killed another 1,046,542 people and set fire to another 35,735,411 international people on Tuesday afternoon, according to Worldometer.
No fewer than 26,894,653 more people have recovered from Covid-19, which has spread to 214 countries and territories around the world.
