COVID-19 ban extends in U.S., Canada and Mexico

The reciprocal ban to stop the spread of coronavirus was first imposed in March and has been extended several times since.

“We continue to work with our Canadian and Mexican partners to curb the impact of COVID19,” US Acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf said on Twitter.

“As a result, we have agreed to extend the limitation of non-essential access to our shared land ports until 21 September,” Wolf said.
