COVID-19: Bahrain delays nursery reopening

Cairo: Bahrain’s government has said the country’s nurseries will remain closed until the end of October as a component of the precautions for young people for the new coronavirus, the media reported on Friday.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Development said that the closure of legal nurseries continued until 25 October because of the public interest and fitness of children, their families and staff there, Bahraini newspaper Akhbar Al Khaleej reported.

The ministry added that it cooperates with the national medical team and a state coordination committee to compile a consultant on strict anti-virus precautionary measures that will be put in position when day care centers reopen in a manner commensurate with young people’s age and to protect children. Requirements.

On Friday, Bahrain’s Ministry of Health announced two more COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total to 219.

Bahrain has reported a total of 63,189 virus cases.
