COVID-19: Bahrain 382 new infections

Dubai: Bahrain has announced the detection of 382 new COVID-19s, bringing the total number of shown to 44,011, the ministry of fitness reported on Monday.

In addition, the death toll in the Kingdom increased to 162 after a COVID-19 patient succumbed to the fatal virus.

The ministry revealed that the most recent bodies come with 165 expatriate workers, of which 214 are local case contacts and 3 are travel-related.

He said another 418 people have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 40,967.

The ministry added that of the 2,882 active cases, 90 were under repair and 36 were in critical condition.

The latter were detected after completing 9133 Covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of COVID-19 tests to date to 902,059.
