COVID-19 at the GCC: Kuwait 589 new infections

Dubai: Kuwait announced that another 589 people tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections shown in the country to 125926, the Ministry of Health said in its latest update.

Six others died of infection as a result of headaches caused by the virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 779.

Another 660 patients were fully recovered, bringing the total recovered from the virus to 116,862. Active instances have now reached 8,285, of which 110 are critical patients receiving intensive care.

Saudi Arabia reported 402 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections shown in the Kingdom to 347282, according to the Ministry of Health.

According to the ministry, another 19 people have died in the last 24 hours as a result of COVID-19 headaches, bringing the total number of virus-like deaths to 5,402.

The ministry also announced 433 new recoveries in more than 24 hours, bringing the total number of others recovered from the fatal virus to 333,842. Active instances were reduced to 8,038, of which 776 are critical.

The number of COVID-19 infections increased to 132,556, with another 213 people tested positive for the virus, the Ministry of Public Health said.

No new deaths have been reported in the 24 hours, keeping the death toll at 232.

The ministry announced 234 new recoveries, bringing total recoveries to 129,583.

Active cases have now affected 2,741, of which 366 are being treated recently and 36 are cases in resuscitation.

Bahrain’s Ministry of Health announced that another 204 people had undergone coronavirus testing in the Kingdom in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 81,466.

Another death reported today, raising the height of the Kingdom to 320.

The ministry reported 263 new recoveries, bringing total recoveries to 78,365. Lately there are 20 cases of COVID19 in state and 77 cases in process. 2,762 instances are solid out of a total of 2,782 active instances.
