YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian government is lifting the coronavirus-like state of emergency that lasted more than 6 months and is replacing it with immediate quarantine measures that would allow the government to continue with protection regulations and restrictions.
The applicable invoice approved by Parliament on 4 September.
The quarantine regime is in force until 11 January 2021.
The measures allow the government to protect coronavirus-like regulations and restrictions, as well as padlocks when deemed necessary.
There have been 177 new instances of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total cumulative number of instances displayed to 45,503, the Armenian Center for Disease Control reported in September.

Public events such as weddings and funerals, among others, are for 60 participants.
Public meetings are allowed with precautions such as social distance and masking.
Schools will reopen on September 15.
Outdoors are required to use an identity at all times.
As transmission rates and new instances continue their downward trend, the government has said many airlines are expected to resume flights to Armenia in September. Arriving travelers can be screened for COVID-19 at the airport or quarantined for 14 days.
