Cairo: Kuwait showed 616 new cases of the virus in more than 24 hours, bringing the country’s number of infections to 101299.
Two COVID-19 deaths have been recorded, bringing the number of disease deaths in Kuwait to 590, Health Ministry spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said in an update.
There are 101 patients receiving comprehensive care, KUNA added, according to Kuwaiti news firm KUNA.
Kuwait’s total virus number reached 720,509 after 4,622 seconds in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health said overall recoveries in Kuwait had increased to 92,341 after 729 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
