COVID-19 accused of higher intellectual fitness cases Oman fitness workers

Dubai: Oman is experiencing a significant increase in the number of fitness personnel requiring intellectual fitness due to anxiety and insomnia after the coronavirus pandemic, local media reported.

Dr Faryal Al Lawati, head of the communicable diseases unit at the Royal Hospital, said cases have been higher, particularly in recent times. “The number of physicians suffering from anxiety and insomnia who need mental care has increased recently. There is a limit to what the medicine can handle,” he said in an interview with Oman TV.

“If other people in public can’t tolerate dressing in a mask for an hour and can’t help but attend public meetings, think of doctors who have been dressed in protective equipment for a long time,” Dr. Faryal asked.

Oman has noticed an increase in coronavirus cases in recent weeks, which puts pressure on the country’s fitness system. According to Dr. Nawal Al Mahjiri, head of the psychosomatic medicine unit at the Royal Hospital, many fitness staff members suffer from anxiety and depression attacks. “Health groups in hospitals have been under severe mental strain and want everyone’s help in the pandemic,” he added.
