COVID-19: 4,000 Kuwaiti pay, public aid registration

Kuwait: The Under-Secretary of Kuwait’s Ministry of Social Affairs, Abdul Aziz Shuaib, said that more than 4,000 Kuwaiti have registered on the online platform “Kuwaits Without Wages” presented two weeks ago, Al Anba reported.

The Ministry of Social Affairs presented the programme to learn about the bodies of those economically affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The ministry has been responsible for offering some of those registered in public assistance, while the other component of those registered will be monitored through the public affairs of the labour force and the public establishment of social security.

Those seeking public assistance from the ministry should update their knowledge until September. But Shuaib said that even if the deadline expires, the ministry will continue to distribute public aid.

With respect to replacement within the deadline, the branch is waiting to see what happens in the next phase of the five-step return-to-normal plan, which is expected to begin on September 30, before converting the aid distribution deadline.

Shauib under pressure that the ministry would never oppose preventing or cutting public assistance; even the COVID-19 crisis was never delayed in the distribution of aid.

The Business Minister recently announced a government proposal to create an electronic platform that would allow both one and both citizens affected by the pandemic to register their knowledge so that the relevant government agencies can examine the person’s case.

The programme was introduced into the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to operate until the end of the pandemic. Last week, some of the beneficiaries got budget from their bank accounts.

Most of Kuwait’s 1.4 million other people paint in the public sector; only 10 consistent with penny paints in the consistent consonal sector.
