Dubai: Bahrain’s Ministry of Health has announced the detection of 358 new instances of COVID-19 between foreigners and some of the newcomers to the kingdom, bringing the total to 48,661.
Health officials said 123 expatriate employees had been detected with the virus in the past 24 hours, 230 had become inflamed through local contacts with active instances and five similar to travel.
The total number of tests carried out to date is 1,020,803.
The ministry showed that 538 patients have recovered from coronavirus, bringing the total number of cures in the country to 45166 to date.
The most recent update revealed that lately there are 75 COVID-19 treatment instances, 36 of which are in critical condition.More than 3,278 instances are solid out of a total of 3,314 active instances.The total number of recovered instances released is 45,166.
Third phase
Three new deaths: two Bahrainis, 73 and 81, and a 78-year-old citizen died from coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 182.
Meanwhile, volunteers wishing to participate in the 3rd phase of the COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial can visit the Bahrain International Convention and Exhibition Centre (BIECC), where they can collect the vaccine from 8 am to 8 pm, the announcement from the Ministry of Health.
This resolution is part of ongoing efforts to involve the pandemic of the new coronavirus and restrict its spread by strengthening all precautionary and prevention measures for the fitness and protection of all.
The ministry revealed that the test includes up to 6,000 volunteers, over the age of 18, and volunteers who must go through a physical fitness assessment before enlisting, according to the physical fitness needs established through approved protocols.
