Cairo: Oman said Tuesday that its total coronavirus infections have reached 85,928, a backlog of 206 cases opposite the count announced the day before.
Oman’s Ministry of Health estimated the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the country in 689, with 4 more deaths than the previous day.
The total number of patients recovered in the sultanate reached 81,024, or 94. 2%, the ministry told the Omani news firm ONA.
The ministry added that 154 patients were receiving intensive care for COVID-19.
In mid-August, Oman lifted the ban on night movements imposed to curb the highly infectious disease.
