COVID-1 nine GCC cases: 1 nine deaths in Saudi Arabia, nine in Oman

Dubai: The total number of coronavirus cases in GCC states, the United Arab Emirates, increased to 819854, while the total number of deaths increased to 8246 on Monday.

The ministry of fitness has shown the detection of 735 new instances of coronavirus, bringing the total number of instances in the country to 132,478, five others have succumbed to headaches caused by the virus, bringing the number of deaths to 816.

738 patients made a full recovery, bringing the overall recovery to 123,314; active instances have now affected 8,348, of which 120 are critical in intensive care.

The new instances were detected after 5,659 PCR tests were performed, bringing the total number of other people screened nationwide to 971,489.

The total number of COVID-19 infections in Saudi Arabia increased to 350,984, while another 392 people tested positive on Monday, the ministry of fitness said.

Nineteen more people died from the virus, bringing the death toll in the Kingdom to 5559. During this time, another 402 people recovered completely, bringing overall recovery to 337,788. Active instances continued to decline, with 7,637 reported cases, adding 787 critical instances.

The Omani Ministry of Health recorded 363 new cases of coronavirus and nine deaths. The Sultanate’s total number of cases is now over 118,503, adding 108,968 cures and 1,310 deaths.

An additional 287 recoveries have been reported in the last 24 hours. The ministry suggested that everyone adhere to the social estating orders issued through the Supreme Committee and the Ministry of Health.

Today, another 230 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Qatar, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 134,433.

No new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, keeping the death toll at 232. Some 214 new recovery cases have also been reported, bringing the total number of other recovered people nationwide to 131,490. 2,711, of which 294 are still in treatment, while 41 are critical in intensive care.

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Bahrain continued to decline, with 192 cases reported on Monday, the Ministry of Health announced.

Of the 9,832 COVID-19 PCR tests, another 192 people tested positive for the infection. The new instances come with 86 expatriate workers, 103 new instances are active instance contacts, and 3 travel-related instances. This raises the total number of infections shown in the Kingdom to 83,456.

There were 237 COVID-19 recoveries, bringing overall recovery to 81,000.

No new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, keeping the death toll in the Kingdom at 329. Active instances decreased to 2,127, of which 2,101 are solid and 26 are critical in intensive care.
