Two of the largest school districts in the United States, the Los Angeles and San Diego Unified School Districts, said Monday that their school years would begin with online education, as California continues to fight an outbreak of COVID-19 cases.

The ordinance states that anyone over the age of 6 “must wear a mask at all times, regardless of whether the social distance is also maintained” when the user leaves home. Commercial operators and workers “must ensure” that the rules are followed, the order says. People do not have to wear a mask inside their cars or on their boats. Restaurant buyers can temporarily remove the mask for eating and drinking, depending on the order.
Customers of corporations who refuse to comply with the order will be forced to leave the premises and may face charges for illegal entry. Violations of the order can also result in misdemeanor charges, incarceration or $500 in fines.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday announced a list of industries that will want to close as the number of coronavirus cases continues to increase dramatically across the state.
All counties will be required to close the interior operations of restaurants, wineries, tasting rooms, cinemas, family entertainment center circles, zoos, museums, card game rooms and all bars.

New York City will require state air travelers with maximum COVID-19 fares to provide their local touch data or face a fine of up to $2,000, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday.

President Donald Trump retwed a message saying that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and others say “outrageous lies” about the pandemic. The original tweet, from conservative podcast presenter Chuck Woolery, states that lies are politically motivated and designed to prevent the economy from reviving.
“The most outrageous lies are covid 19. Everyone lies,” wrote Woolery, a former game host. “The CDC, the media, the Democrats, our doctors, not all yet to the fullest, we are told to trust.
