San Joaquin County reported 457 new cases of COVID-19 and no deaths in the week ending Sunday, a slight low from last week, when it reported 437 cases and thirteen deaths. During the pandemic, the county reported 211,865 cases and 2,319 deaths.
California reported 30,455 new coronaviruses in the week ending Sunday, up from 31,010 last week for the virus that causes COVID-19.
California ranked 31st among states where the coronavirus spread the fastest according to the same time, according to research by the USA TODAY Network of data from Johns Hopkins University. Over the past week, coronavirus cases in the U. S. have been in the U. S. cases reported. With 11. 87% of the nation’s population, California recorded 10. 2% of the nation’s cases last week. Nationwide, thirteen states had more cases in the past week than in the past week.
Calaveras County has reported 27 and no deaths in the past week. A week earlier, it had reported 22 and no deaths. Throughout the pandemic, it has reported 9,066 and 133 deaths.

In California, the worst weekly outbreaks per user occurred in Kern County with 173 cases per 100,000 per week; Humboldt County with 140; and Plumas County with 128. The Centers for Disease Control says the highest levels of network transmission start at 100 instances per 100,000 per week.
Los Angeles County, with 7750 instances, added the maximum of new instances overall; San Diego County, with 3300 instances; and San Bernardino County, with 2,256. The number of weekly instances is higher in 39 counties than last week. The worst increases from speed last week occurred in San Diego, San Bernardino and Alameda counties.

Across California, cases fell in 17 counties, with declines in Los Angeles County, with 7750 cases down from 9158 the previous week; in San Francisco County, with 505 of 1599 instances; and Kern County, with 1561 of 1903 instances.
In California, another 252 people were reported dead from COVID-19 in the week ending Sunday. The previous week, another 169 people died.

A total of 11,296,777 more people in California have tested positive for the coronavirus since the pandemic began, and another 96,217 people have died from the disease, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
