People are more likely to contract Covid-19 in spaces with poor air pollutants because debris can “transport” the virus, scientists said.
Knowledge shows that London, Birmingham, New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Delhi have maximum levels of pollutants and have been outperformed by Covid-19.
Today, foreign researchers led by Taipei Medical University in Taiwan said pollutants play a “direct role” in the disease.
Viruses can be absorbed through debris, basically produced through car fumes and paints of structures, and then remain in the air for hours or even days before being inhaled through someone, they said.
This would recommend that the coronavirus be suspended in the air, that others can inhale it from small debris in the air.
In addition, evidence suggests that debris may make lung cells more vulnerable to coronavirus, increasing the threat of being seriously affected.
