Coronavirus: UAE reopens mosques, places of worship in commercial cities, site structure

The United Arab Emirates has reopened mosques and places of worship in commercial cities and painting sites across the country after months of closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report by government entities.

Both the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) said a resolution had been taken to reopen mosques and places of worship at these sites with various precautionary and prevention measures against coronavirus.

The capacity of all those sites will be 30%, the two government entities said.
