The United Arab Emirates has met 80,000 frontline professionals and volunteers who will be eligible for long-term installations as a component of efforts to recognize their role in combating the coronavirus pandemic.
The newly established Office of First Line Heroes created the registry to provide a “detailed national image of all those serving on the front line as opposed to COVID-19,” the official Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
Registration aims at frontline staff and their families through enabling facilities and systems that target those in need.
