The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 359 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus on Sunday, including 350 recoveries and no deaths.

The total number of assets is 18,567.

The new instances were detected in another 121,961 tests.

The total number of cases in the UAE as of October 9 is 1,030,837, while the total number of recoveries is 1,009,924. The death toll now stands at 2,346.

As covid cases see mask-wearing and fall regulations relaxed, medical professionals have begun to see an increase in cases of other viral infections.

Health experts have suggested citizens take similar precautionary measures, especially during flu season.

“It’s no surprise that with the easing of regulations, the number of flu cases has increased,” said Dr. Brown. Nikita Singh, Internal Medicine Specialist, Aster Clinic, Business Bay.

Hong Kong says it would give away 500,000 HK$2 billion ($254. 8 million) airline tickets as it tries to revive its tourism sector after the pandemic.

The Airport Authority buys tickets from carriers such as Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Express and Hong Kong Airlines as it seeks to advertise tourism. The airport authority will finalize the agreement with the airlines.

Once the government announces that it will apply all Covid-19 restrictions for incoming travellers, we will launch advertising campaigns for loose air tickets,” Dane Cheng, chief executive of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, said in a BBC report.
