Coronavirus: UAE 332 Covid-19 cases, 311 recoveries, no deaths

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Saturday reported 332 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus, including 311 recoveries and no deaths.

Al Ain’s Al Maqam Health Centre has been reopened after its closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic, announced Ambulatory Healthcare Services, a SEHA gym.

Services include general practice, family circle medicine, chronic disease clinic, women’s health, child welfare, prenatal services, screening, immunization, and premarital and pre-employment screening. In addition, the center will provide specialized services, adding dermatology, obstetrics. and gynecology, pediatrics, general dentistry and nutrition, supported by radiography, ultrasound, laboratory and pharmacy services.

Meanwhile, Japan in January expanded the use of the vaccine to others starting at age five. Last month, fitness officials began distributing booster vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna Inc that target the Omicron variant of the virus.

The organization also approved an edition of the Pfizer vaccine that protects against Omicron’s BA. 4 and BA. 5 subvariants. Moderna said last Wednesday it was seeking Japan’s approval for its own subvariant.

Meanwhile, a panel from Japan’s Ministry of Health on Wednesday approved Pfizer Inc’s Covid-19 vaccine for children as young as six months old.
