The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Saturday reported 322 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus, 308 recoveries and no deaths.
Cheerful scenes spread at Abu Dhabi’s LLH Hospital when Arunkumar’s colleagues M. Nair welcomed him to the paintings after a break of more than 15 months.
It was in July last year that the frontline warrior became inflamed with Covid-19 and suffered lung damage, cardiac arrest, inability to breathe and was in a semi-conscious state for six months. The Burjeel Holdings operating room technician arranged a miraculous recovery and Nair was discharged in January. However, it took him another nine months to recover and resume his duties after a nearly 450-day war against Covid-19 and the recovery stage.
Since July last year, Nair had been on extended extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and survived several cardiac arrests. After his release in January, he hoped to return to work soon, but faced a long road to recovery ahead. He lived in an apartment near the hospital, which the company provided to help him access medical assistance when he needed it.
Meanwhile, nasal vaccines may remain a long-term hardliner in the fight against covid-19, despite the “disappointing” effects of recent testing for an AstraZeneca spray, experts say.
Entering the frame in the same way as the virus, nasal vaccines aim to boost immunity in the mucous membrane lining the nose and mouth.
This can prevent other people from becoming inflamed in the first place, and also potentially prevent those who have Covid from spreading it further.
This would be a great condiment for classic arm injections, which have proven to be very effective in preventing severe cases of covid, but are less effective when it comes to preventing transmission.
