Iran’s capital Tehran is expected to make a “total close” for at least two weeks to prevent further coronavirus deaths, according to the head of the town hall.
Iran, the country most affected by coronavirus in the Middle East, has been experiencing its third wave of contagion since the first instances were announced in February.

“We will have to think about a general closure of Tehran due to the higher prevalence of coronavirus, in a different way we will not succeed over the third wave [of the disease],” the official IRIB news firm quoted Tehran leader Mohsen Hashemi. City Hall, as was said on Sunday.
