The ministry attributes 34,366 deaths to COVID-19. Experts say the actual number of infections and deaths is likely to be much higher because insufficient evidence, asymptomatic cases, and other disorders save the government from greed on the true scale of the epidemic.

As the numbers rise, the government of adequacy policy in Spain tightens restrictions. They need to stop the outbreak that has accumulated in recent months and avoid a moment of general blockade of housing confinement that contained the first wave of the virus and left the economy in shock.

The regional government of northern Aragon announced on Wednesday that it had closed the borders of the town of Zaragoza, Huesca and Teruel. La neighboring Navarra, which leads Spain with 100,000 contagions in 14 days, preparing for the first Spanish region to close its borders. Rioja will also close its regional borders on Friday.

Spain’s fitness minister and regional fitness chiefs will meet on Thursday to discuss their antivirus methods and the use of night curfews to target night parties as a source of contagion.
