People arriving from Singapore and Thailand to England and Scotland will want to quarantine from Saturday morning, the government said.
They have been added to the ‘travel corridor’ countries.
But travelers from Slovenia and Guadeloupe will have to isolate themselves for two weeks.
Both have also been added to Wales’ quarantine list, while arrivals from Gibraltar and Thailand will want to be isolated.
Adjustments will be made at 04:00 BST on Saturday.
Which ones are on the UK quarantine lists?
The Ministry of Transport (DfT) said there was “a replacement at the point and speed of the cases shown of coronavirus” in Slovenia and Guadeloupe.
Slovenia’s knowledge shows that its seven-day case rate is 29. 1, consisting of 100,000 people, compared to 14. 4 in the last seven days.
Guadeloupe’s rate has more than doubled in the last 4 weeks, dfT said.
When a country’s rate exceeds 20, the British plan to impose quarantine restrictions.
Travellers who isolate the the holidays when they are destined to do so may be fined EUR 1,000 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, or EUR 480 in Scotland.
Transportation Secretary Grant Shapps reminded passengers that the law required them to complete a passenger placement form.
The form asks travelers to add their touch to the shape and handle it in the UK. Passengers can be fined up to 3200 euros in England if they provide exact touch details, or 1,920 euros in Wales.
“This is important for public fitness and making sure that those who want it meet self-insulating standards,” he said. Shapps.
Quarantine lists have: what’s new?
The resolution to remove quarantine restrictions for arrivals from Thailand and Singapore does not result in an increase in the number of other people coming from England visiting, as any of the countries only allow others to enter for a limited number of reasons, for example, if they have a paint permit or are a resident’s wife or child.
Denmark maintained its quarantine exemption, despite a seven-day case rate of 33. 8.
The DfT suggested that employers “understand” others returning from Slovenia and Guadeloupe, as they will have to isolate themselves.
It did not provide any updates on the imaginable advent of airport testing as a means of reducing quarantine requirements.
The industry has demanded that this be done urgently to avoid further task losses.
Earlier this week, British Airways chief Alex Cruz asked passengers to travel between London and New York.
He said “this is imperative,” adding that the airline is “fighting for our own survival. “
Last week, Sweden exempted Wales, England and Scotland from quarantine.
At the same time, Portugal was put back on England’s quarantine list after a build-up of infections.
This occurs when coronavirus instances in the UK increased to 3395 on Thursday, according to government figures, while deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus exceed 21.
