Saudi Arabia will allow its citizens to leave and return to the Kingdom through all land, sea and air ports after 1 January 2021, as all coronavirus-like precautionary measures are followed, the official SPA news firm reported on Sunday.
“Full lifting of restrictions imposed on citizens leaving and returning to the Kingdom, and allowing the opening of ports for the crossing of all means of transport by land, sea and air, after 1 January 2021, respecting existing precautionary procedures against coronaviruses,” SPA reported.

The exact date and time of the suspension lift will be disclosed 30 days before January 1, 2021. The Ministry of Health may, if necessary, request the implementation of certain preventive conditioning needs for travelers and travel carriers, and in the corridors of airports, ports and exercise stations,” SPA added.
GCC citizens and non-Saudis will be able to enter the Kingdom on valid jobs, or stop on visas, as they comply with coronavirus-like fitness precautions.
One of the main regulations is that no user can enter the Kingdom unless they have evidence of losing COVID-19. This should be done by providing a negative result of a coronavirus check that is no more than 48 hours long and will need to be performed on an enabled entity.
Saudi Arabia will later announce a plan to reauthorize omra pilgrimage, based on updates to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Kingdom had banned all foreigners to and from its lands since early March to control the spread of coronavirus.
The government began reopening and returning to “normal” in late May, but foreign flights remained prohibited.
Saudi Arabia reported that 325,651 showed cases of coronavirus, 302,870 recovered patients and 4,268 deaths on Sunday, to the ministry of fitness.
