Coronavirus: Saudi Arabia registers 2671 new infections as COVID-19 instances decrease

Saudi Arabia has recorded 2,671 new coronavirus infections in more than 24 hours as cases continue to decline, according to the Ministry of Health.

As in past trends, Riyadh saw the number of one-day increases with 250 new instances. Riyadh had the range of timing with 226 in a row through al-Hafouf with 211 new COID-19 cases registered.

There were also reports of 40 deaths, bringing the death toll to 2,325.

Despite the continuous detection of new cases, the total number of recoveries reached 183,048, or 76, consistent with the percentage of 240,474 cases. Nearly 5,500 other people who had already tested positive for the virus have recovered in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health also announced that the Kingdom had effectively treated 132 COVID-19 plasma patients donated through cured patients. This was done as part of a study examination involving an organization of Saudi studies and study centers. More than 634 cured patients donated blood plasma, according to the Ministry of Health.

On Tuesday, a spokesman for the ministry of fitness said that Saudi Arabia had noticed “stability” in critical and shown cases of coronavirus in days, and that there had been a minimum of 1.5% in critical cases during the following week.

Despite a slight improvement in the Kingdom, cases continue to rise internationally and others will have to “return to normal” with caution, said the spokesman, Dr. Mohammed al-Abd al-Ali.
