All Roland Garros players this month will stay in two hotels designated “without exception” to the threat of coronavirus, tournament director Guy Forget said Monday.
Forget also announced that only 11,500 spectators will be admitted according to the day of the 20,000 who were expected to host the tournament from September 27 to October 11.

The current French law limits public meetings to 5000.
The Roland Garros complex will be divided into 3 distinct “independent” areas corresponding to the main exhibition halls, without crossing between the two.
Philippe Chatrier and Suzanne Lenglen courts will be limited to 5,000 spectators each with Simonne Mathieu at just 1,500. No tickets will be sold for the courts.
In total, fewer than 150,000 enthusiasts are expected during the 15 days, more than a quarter of the 520,000 who attended the 2019 edition.
Players will be edited “on arrival and will get their accreditation as soon as the first negative is returned,” Forget said.
