India recorded a one-day jump of 40,425 COVID-19 instances, keeping the overall account beyond the lakh mark on July 20.

The total number of recoveries exceeded 7 lakh, according to the knowledge of the Ministry of Health of the Union.

Data updated at 8:00 a.m. on July 20 showed that the total number of instances shown in COVID-19 was 11,18,043.
