ATLANTA, GA – Georgia coronavirus statistics fell particularly again on Monday, with 2,271 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths in the past 24 hours.
Around 60 new hospitalizations were reported on Monday, compared to previous days.
These declining numbers would possibly or possibly not constitute a trend. The figures reported on Sunday and Monday are declining due to the weekend. They regularly recover on Tuesdays.
Those who test positive for COVID-19 do not necessarily have poor health; in some cases, they may not even have symptoms, but they can transmit the coronavirus to other vulnerable people.
CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS
The Georgia Department of Public Health reported that a total of 195435 showed instances of COVID-19 at 2:50 p.m. Monday. According to the Department of Health’s website, these 2,271 new cases showed instances in the last 24 hours.
Georgia has also reported 3842 deaths to date by COVID-19, with two other deaths recorded in the last 24 hours. In addition, the state reported 19,124 hospitalizations, 60 more than the following day, and 3,475 admissions to extensive care sets to date.
No data are available in Georgia on the number of patients cured.
Counties within or near the Atlanta Metro continue to have the number of positive cases, and Fulton County continues to lead the way, surpassing 18,000 instances for the first time on Monday.
Counties within or near the Atlanta Metro also continue to have maximum deaths due to COVID-19. The only exception is Dougherty County, from Georgia’s first primary outbreak.
On Monday, Georgia administered more than 1.85 million COVID-19 tests, of which approximately 12% are the least used to detect antibodies.
For maximum reliable verification of the virus itself, 11% of the checks tested positive. For less reliable antibody testing, 6.6% tested positive. The overall positive rate is around 10.4%.
While more and more Georgians have been examined in recent weeks, positive percentages for both viral control and overall controls are slightly higher. On July 6, the percentage of checks overall that yielded positive results was only 8.7%.

Worldwide, more than 18.1 million other people tested positive for COVID-19 and more than 690,000 people died, Johns Hopkins University reported Monday.
In the United States, nearly 4.7 million more people were inflamed and more than 155,000 people died from COVID-19 on Monday. The United States has only about 4% of the world’s population, yet it showed more cases and deaths than any other country.
