Coronavirus: Mecca government saved him in 2050 from illegally entering hajj holy sites

Security forces in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, have prevented at least 2050 people from illegally entering sacred places without permission on this year’s limited Hajj pilgrimage due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the spokesman for the Hajj Security Forces Command.

Fines for illegal access to Mecca come into force on 19 July before this year’s annual Hajj pilgrimage, which is held in its capacity due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Saudi Interior Ministry has shown that it will impose a fine of 10,000 Saudi riyals ($2,666) on offenders entering mecca’s holy sites without authorization during the upcoming Hajj season.
